I'm glad that you were able to be there for your friends and that you got to share the special time with them that you did.Army Wife Xhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04960064613323202886noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8186131125865531265.post-89344339607425254172012-02-09T20:03:58.363-08:002012-02-09T20:03:58.363-08:00Oh my goodness! Though I did not know your friends and army comrades, I do understand the experience of having to say good bye to people you love and care about. You made us feel as though we were there giving that final salute of respect and honor to those well deserved heroes. It makes me very proud of you and all our service men and women for the sacrifices, not only in war, but in so much time away from family and friends.Jenny Baarsnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-8186131125865531265.post-37287739337548261172012-02-07T22:02:51.147-08:002012-02-07T22:02:51.147-08:00Well said Mel. They notice and will remember that people were there with them every step of the way. They won't tell you about it, but will ask others why they didn't show up for those seemingly mundane and routine events in their lives. You have set a high standard for those that will lead your soldiers in the future for how they should care for them. And that is ministry in the military.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05834199710229270189noreply@blogger.com
